SD23 J.Schaad supports KSS Library

The KSS Library had a welcome visit from district.  Despite strains and pains of a massive technology refresh, some of the more important  transparent functionalities can go unnoticed. Jason came to help solve why subscribed databases were not functioning properly fromwithin our school.  With the help of IT technician Cal Bridge, we sorted through the wonderful mad world of IP addresses, firewalls and authentications in order to get the service provider specific instructions that support that significant cost of these important internet information services.  Google is free, powerful, important and easy but does not serve the instructional needs of our rigorous goals for students. We are so glad the district is listening and that we have personal like John, Jason and Cal who support our efforts.

thanks fellas
