One good way to reduce the stress in your daily life and save time for something more enjoyable and/or more important is to cut down on the time you spend on email.
Here is how I have done that over the past year or so.
My own top 3 methods:
- keep email for one to one correspondence, not content sharing via groups or lists
- use social networks and blogs for sharing content
- use RSS feed reader , my fave is GoogleReader within my iGoogle home page
