We had so much fun today at the our annual Summer Reader Reception. The KSS Library hosts a luncheon and book sharing event to celebrate summer reading. We display new resources, Staff Picks, and loads of fiction for teachers and staff to borrow for summer. We celebrate our love of the word by providing a lunch and offering door prizes…Thanks to those amazing friends of the library who pitched in and brought food, refreshments or helped with setup and cleanup. What a group you are! Our new Principal Vianne couldn’t make it but she would love the spirit of her new team! Thanks to Pierre for rescuing me from the authorities to preserve our watermelon and my dignity. A huge thanks to my colleagues and friends who offered such encouragement for me today! I am so grateful to serve you.
